Is it possible to cancel a transaction after it has been completed?

Cancelling a transaction depends on its status and type of operation:


Card payments (Visa/Mastercard)

1) If the operation is in "Pending" status, it can be cancelled manually in your NBCgate PayForm personal account.

To do this:

The funds will not be debited from the customer's card, and the block on their account will be automatically removed within 1–3 banking days.

  • Go to PayForm → Transaction history,
  • Select the desired payment,
  • Click "Cancel transaction".
  • If the payment has already been confirmed by the acquiring bank (Completed), it cannot be cancelled.

2) However, you can request a refund via the PayForm panel:

  • Funds will be refunded to the same customer card,
  • The crediting period is up to 5 business days (depending on the bank).

Cryptocurrency transactions

  • If the payment is awaiting network confirmation (Pending), it can be cancelled.
  • If the payment has already been confirmed in the blockchain (Completed), it cannot be cancelled, as blockchain transactions are irreversible.

To refund the customer, you can create a manual refund in the PayForm section.


How to create a refund

1) Open PayForm → Transaction history.

2) Find the payment you need.

3) Click "Create refund".

4) The system will automatically refund the customer in the same currency.
